Applications
IR-SYM is a kind of siloxane-ether copolymer with silicon-carbon structure.
IR-SYM is anti-hydrolysis and chemically stable. It mainly applies to rigid polyurethane-foamed plastics.
Features
1. Excellent compatibility and stability in combination with polyether polyols.
2. Outstanding surface activity and emulsifying ability. Therefore, polyether polyol pre-mixed with IR-SYM has better storage stability, evener cell structure, and a higher closed-cell rate. As a result, the foams’ heat-insulating properties and mechanical strength are greatly enhanced.
3. IR-SYM gives materials good fluidity, even density distribution, and excellent foam stability. Then, a shear line can be minimized. It is the best foam stabilizer for fluorine-containing or fluorine-free premixed polyether polyol.

IR-SY-1 for Rigid Foam
IR-SY-1 is a kind of siloxane-ether copolymer with a silicon-carbon structure. It is anti-hydrolysis and chemically stable. It applies to rigid and semi-rigid polyurethane foamed plastics and is mainly used in piping insulation, laminated board, and spraying.
IR-SY-1 gives the material good liquidity, excellent surface activity, and emulsifying ability. Moreover, it reduces the surface tension and then helps bubble nuclear bubbles to form. Thus, it improves the storage stability of the combined polyether and its compatibility with other components in the system.
A separation will not happen during long-term storage. IR-SY-1 also could even plastic bubble structure and increase the rate of the closed pore to improve the foam insulation and mechanical strength.
IR-SY-5 for Rigid Foam
IR-SY-5 is a kind of siloxane-ether copolymer with a silicone-carbon structure. It is anti-hydrolysis and chemically stable. It applies to rigid and semi-rigid polyurethane foamed plastic and is mainly used in polyurethane components for refrigerators, doors, and others.
IR-SY-5 gives the material good liquidity and reduces the surface tension between molecules, thus stabilizing and uniforming the bubble hole.
